Support planning, preparation, and submission of permits for major utility and infrastructure projects.
Work with engineering teams, consultants, utility providers, and government authorities to support timely approvals and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate permit applications with relevant Saudi regulatory authorities.
- Maintain permitting schedules, approval trackers, and compliance registers.
- Identify permit requirements for power, water, wastewater, telecommunications, and road networks.
- Monitor permit progress and coordinate responses to authority comments and information requests.
- Gather permit documentation with engineering, environmental, and project teams.
- Support engagement with government agencies, utility providers, and other stakeholders.
- Identify permitting risks and support mitigation strategies.
- Prepare permitting status updates for project leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum two years of experience in permitting, infrastructure, utilities, mining, industrial, or major capital projects.
- Understanding of permitting processes, environmental regulations, and infrastructure development requirements.
- Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Experience with Saudi regulatory authorities and utility providers is preferred.
- Arabic language skills are an asset.
Office location and schedule
- Office location is Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
- Schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
