Global Tailings Product Leader

Role Overview

Product Strategy and Leadership

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Hatch's tailings digital product portfolio.
• Identify client challenges, market opportunities, and emerging industry trends to guide product direction.
• Establish product priorities and investment decisions and monitor product performance, adoption, and commercial success.

Market and Commercial Growth

• Position Hatch as a recognized global leader in digital tailings management.
• Represent Hatch at conferences, client forums, and professional associations and contribute to thought leadership.
• Support go-to-market strategies, pricing, product positioning, sales enablement, market expansion, and investment recommendations.

Collaboration and Development

• Partner with the Tailings Practice, Regional Directors, business development teams, clients, Product Owners, and development teams.
• Translate client and operational challenges into scalable digital product opportunities.
• Provide market, client, and business insights that shape product development and maintain alignment with client value and commercial objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in mining engineering, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in tailings, mine waste, mining operations, water management, geotechnical governance, or related mining disciplines.
• Experience leading products, technology-enabled services, major business initiatives, or operational transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of mining operations, tailings governance, risk management, and client decision-making processes.
• Experience developing business cases, product strategies, commercial plans, and growth initiatives.
• Ability to engage senior client stakeholders and influence decision-making, with strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with digital products, SaaS platforms, mining technology, industrial software, or operational technology solutions.
• Experience bringing new products or technology-enabled offerings to market.
• Familiarity with Agile product development environments.
• Experience with industry conferences, thought leadership, global organizations, or matrixed environments.
