1.1 Job Scope Summary
To establish, implement, and manage an effective Permit-to-Work (PTW) system, including setting up the Permit Office, ensuring safe execution of all activities in compliance with HSE standards, while supporting shift operations including CRO coverage when required.
Work Authority
- Authorized to issue, suspend, and cancel Permit-to-Work (PTW) activities in the plant.
- Authority to verify and approve isolations (LOTO), risk assessments, and method statements before work starts.
- Authorized to ensure mandatory gas testing (GS testing) is conducted before issuing special permits
- Stop unsafe work
- Reject or suspend permits
