Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with learning activities ensuring health and safety and good behaviour of pupils
- Support pupils individually or in groups in accessing learning activities
- Set up resources, materials, and equipment for lessons
- Order and maintain sufficient supplies of materials and equipment
- Clean and undertake maintenance of equipment as needed
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes for students

Overall Functions
- Teaching Assistants are responsible for supporting the PE and/or swimming class in the teaching and learning process.
- Assist the teacher in creating a safe, supportive, and motivating environment.
- Give administrative support to the class teacher.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with learning activities ensuring health and safety and good behaviour of pupils.
- Support pupils individually or in groups in accessing learning activities.
- Be aware of students’ individual needs and equal access to opportunities.
- Liaise with SENCo for information and guidance on supporting student’s individual needs.
- Give pupils support with coursework assignments.
- Support the department in ensuring classroom and corridor display are updated.
- Carry out filing as directed by PE Teacher or Head of PE.
- Be aware of and comply with policies relating to child protection, health, safety, security and confidentiality.
- Contribute to the overall work/aims of the school.
- Set up resources / materials / equipment for lessons.
- Support structured and practical activities for groups or one to one.
- Order and maintain sufficient supplies of materials and equipment.
Pay
- Up to QAR5,500.00 per month
License/Certification
- CPR and First Aid Qualification (Required)
- Swimming Certificate (Required)
