Reporting to the Global Payroll & HR Systems Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our People & Performance team based in Adelaide.

This role will play a critical part in supporting payroll operations across Australia, New Zealand and selected Asia markets. Alongside delivering accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing, you will help drive the stabilisation and optimisation of our recently implemented payroll systems. Working closely with Payroll, HR, Finance, IT and external partners, you'll contribute to resolving payroll challenges, reducing manual workarounds and improving the overall employee experience.

Identify, analyse and resolve recurring payroll issues across configuration, integration, data, process or user behaviour.

Investigate payroll discrepancies, conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions

Partner with Payroll Systems, IT and external vendors to identify, test and resolve system issues

Support end-to-end payroll processing across Australia, New Zealand and selected Asia markets

Manage weekly and monthly payroll activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery Prepare and support payroll reconciliations, journals and reporting requirements

Maintain compliance with payroll legislation, Enterprise Agreements and internal governance requirements

Experience in SAP payroll environments and Kronos / UKG time and attendance systems is highly desirable.

Proven payroll experience within Australia and New Zealand payroll environments

Exposure to payroll stabilisation, system implementations or post-implementation support highly regarded

Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, Enterprise Agreements and compliance requirement

Experience processing both waged and salaried payrolls in complex organisations

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot payroll issues and identify root causes

Experience working with payroll systems such as SAP SuccessFactors Payroll and UKG Ready (Kronos)

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate payroll outcomes clearly and confidently

High attention to detail, discretion and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
