Core Purpose

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the company’s payroll, ensuring compliance with local labor laws (such as UAE Wage Protection System - WPS) and internal policies.

This role involves managing employee records, calculating deductions, and coordinating with departments to ensure all attendance and leave data are correctly reflected in monthly disbursements.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Payroll Processing:**
  • Execute end-to-end monthly payroll for all employees, including base salary, allowances, and bonuses.
  • Calculate overtime, commissions, and shift differentials based on departmental reports.
  • Manage the **Wage Protection System (WPS)** file generation and submission to ensure legal compliance.
  • **Attendance & Leave Management:**
  • Audit "punch-in" and "punch-out" records to ensure accuracy and prevent misuse.
  • Track and record employee leaves, including annual, sick, and unpaid leave, and reflect these in final pay calculations.
  • Liaise with managers to resolve discrepancies in attendance data.
  • **Compliance & Record Keeping:**
  • Maintain up-to-date employee digital files, ensuring all payroll-related documentation is filed correctly.
  • Process **Job Loss Insurance** and other mandatory social contributions for eligible employees.
  • Handle end-of-service (EOSB) calculations, including gratuity, notice periods, and leave encashment in accordance with labor laws.
  • **Reporting & Reconciliation:**
  • Prepare monthly payroll reconciliation reports for the Finance department.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports for management regarding labor costs, turnover, and overtime trends.
  • Verify and process expense claims and invoice reimbursements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • **Experience:** * Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role within the UAE.
  • Strong familiarity with **WPS** and UAE Labor Law.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo, or NetSuite) is highly preferred.
  • **Technical Skills:** * Advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas).
  • Experience with attendance tracking software or mobile applications like Perk.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.

Skills & Competencies

  • **Confidentiality:** Must maintain the highest level of discretion regarding sensitive salary information.
  • **Communication:** Fluent in **English**; proficiency in **Arabic** or **Urdu/Hindi** is a significant advantage for employee relations.
  • **Problem Solving:** Ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies independently.
  • **Organization:** Excellent time management skills to meet strict monthly payroll deadlines.

Key Performance Indicators (Kpis)

  • **Accuracy Rate:** Percentage of payroll runs completed without errors.
  • **Timeliness:** Ability to meet all monthly disbursement deadlines.
  • **Compliance:** Zero penalties incurred from late WPS filings or labor law violations.
  • **Audit Readiness:** Maintaining organized, accessible records for financial and government audits.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
