Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute automatic SAP S/4HANA payment runs and initiate manual payments through bank portals for urgent or exception cases.
• Obtain approvals and authorizations before payment execution in line with company delegation-of-authority and SOX controls.
• Enter vendor bank details, invoice references, payment amounts, payment types, and supporting documentation accurately.
• Validate payment proposals, release and post BACS, SEPA, wire, and cheque payments, and ensure correct payment methods and terms.
• Monitor payment status, troubleshoot failures, resolve payment rejections, and manage duplicate or erroneous payment recovery.
• Post manual SAP payments to clear open invoices and ensure correct general ledger, vendor account, and document references.
• Perform duplicate, blocked-invoice, and approval-status checks before payment execution.
• Coordinate vendor and bank corrections with master data, coordinate funding with treasury, and prioritize payments based on cash availability and urgency.
• Support cash forecasting, month-end closing, reconciliation, AP KPI improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, or finance.
• 3–7 years of experience in Accounts Payable and payment activities.
• Hands-on experience with Coupa S2P and SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, SOX, and internal controls.
• Experience in a Global Shared Services Centre and a high-volume invoice environment.
