- The Patient Financial Services Advisor provides supervised assistance to patients regarding financial responsibilities and insurance coverage.
Operational Roles & Responsibilities
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility to ensure accurate billing and clear communication of financial responsibilities.
- Assist patients with financial responsibilities, charges, payment expectations, and copayments.
- Coordinate payment plans or offer information on financial assistance options.
- Handle frontline cash transactions including invoicing, cash collection, and refunds.
- Ensure accurate processing of payments, manage cash drawers, maintain transaction records, reconcile cash receipts, and report daily.
