Balsam is recruiting an experienced Patient Coordinator for a client's healthcare team in Dubai.
The role is service-oriented and focused on coordinating patient care journeys and supporting a positive patient experience.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the patient journey from appointment scheduling through treatment and follow-up.
- Assist patients with treatment plans, procedures, and required arrangements.
- Coordinate with physicians, nursing, reception, insurance, and other departments to maintain smooth patient flow.
- Follow up with patients regarding appointments, procedures, surgeries, and treatment plans.
- Provide clear and professional communication and address patient inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Support a positive patient experience and high standards of service.
Requirements
- Two to three years of experience as a Patient Coordinator in a healthcare facility in the UAE.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Excellent coordination and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Arabic is an advantage.
- Familiarity with healthcare or EMR systems is preferred.
- Professional appearance and patient-focused attitude.
Work location
- The role is based in Dubai and requires in-person work.
