Role Overview
The Pastry / Bakery Chef leads preparation, production, presentation, and quality of pastry and bakery products within an exclusive luxury destination.
The role oversees daily operations, product development, assigned team management, cost and stock control, and standards for taste, quality, freshness, presentation, hygiene, and service.
Production and Product Development
- Lead daily pastry and bakery operations and organize production for menus, service, private functions, events, and special occasions.
- Create, test, develop, and standardize pastry, bakery, dessert, chocolate, confectionery, and specialty products.
- Prepare and oversee breads, viennoiserie, cakes, pastries, desserts, plated sweets, and other bakery items.
- Develop products for dietary requirements, allergies, preferences, and bespoke requests.
