  • Be enthusiastic, highly motivated and with a strong track record of working within a similar type of role.
  • Show evidence of having previous learning experience working with children.
  • Be proactive in their approach providing learning support to primary and/or senior students in mainstream classes, small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
  • Show confidence in working with young children in and outside a classroom.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, high levels of emotional intelligence and be able to deal effectively and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and teams.
  • Fully support the school Mission, Vision and Motto.
  • Have KSA residency status.

BISR teachers should possess the following

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher status; Certificate of Education (PGCE or B.Ed); Relevant training or qualifications for the specific post.
  • Understanding: Appreciation of a British school's demands in an international context; Commitment to the school's co curricular life; Understanding of intercultural awareness and cultural sensitivity; Recognition of responsibility for students' holistic growth and well being.
