About the role
UNISPARK is seeking a Part-Time Internal Auditor to review financial, operational, and internal control processes.
The role is intended for an experienced audit professional seeking a flexible part-time position in Dubai.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct periodic audits of financial and operational activities.
- Review accounting records, transactions, invoices, expenses, and supporting documents.
- Evaluate controls, compliance, risks, discrepancies, and process weaknesses.
- Recommend improvements and prepare internal audit reports.
- Follow up on corrective actions and review cash, receivables, payables, inventory, and expenses.
- Provide management with objective recommendations and maintain strict confidentiality.
Requirements
- Three to seven years of relevant experience in internal audit, external audit, accounting, or financial controls.
- Chartered Accountant qualification is preferred, with equivalent qualifications such as ACCA or CPA considered.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, auditing, internal controls, financial reporting, risk assessment, and business process controls.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, attention-to-detail, and professional integrity skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
