The Pakistani Cuisine Chef is a full-time, on-site role focused on preparing authentic Pakistani dishes with consistent quality and presentation.
The chef will support kitchen operations, events, catering, customer preferences, and dietary requirements.
Responsibilities
- Plan menus, organize mise en place, and cook traditional and contemporary Pakistani recipes.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and an orderly workstation.
- Collaborate on ingredient ordering, portion control, stock rotation, waste reduction, and cost-effective operations.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen team members.
- Support special events and catering services.
- Adapt recipes to customer preferences and dietary requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Pakistani cuisine, including traditional dishes, regional specialties, and contemporary adaptations.
- Proficiency in menu planning, food preparation, portion control, and presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and safe kitchen practices.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure during peak service.
- Previous professional restaurant or hospitality experience as a chef or cook is expected.
- Basic inventory and cost control skills, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Formal culinary training or certification is advantageous but not mandatory with strong practical experience.
