Packaging Engineering Master Data Coordintor

Coordinate and monitor cross-functional workflows for new product introductions and product changes, ensuring timely approvals, accurate documentation, and effective communication.

Support production on the manufacturing floor conducting packaging trials, process observations, validations, and data collection.

Identify opportunities to improve documentation, master data governance, packaging processes, and workflow efficiencies while promoting best practices for data accuracy.

Support special projects and provide technical and administrative assistance for packaging engineering, product development, and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, IT or a related technical field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Minimum of 1 years of experience in packaging, manufacturing, engineering support, quality, IT or data management.

Experience maintaining ERP, PLM, or other data management systems (e.g., Syspro, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.

Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and data management skills.

Experience entering, validating, maintaining, and analyzing technical, product, or production data.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Comfortable working in both an office environment and a manufacturing facility.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting packaging engineering, product development, or food manufacturing operations.

Experience with product master data management, ERP/PLM systems, engineering change management, or new product introduction (NPI) processes.

Experience maintaining product specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical documentation.

Experience with packaging validation, shelf-life testing, product trials, and commercialization activities.

Familiarity with production metrics, line efficiency, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Experience working on material tracking.

Experience using reporting or business intelligence tools such as Power BI.

Knowledge of food safety, packaging materials, regulatory requirements, quality systems, and documentation control.

Demonstrated ability to improve processes, enhance data accuracy, and support cross-functional project execution.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to physically perform the functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions

Must be able to work seated using a computer and phone for long periods of time

Must be able to work extended hours, such as daily overtime and an occasional weekend

Must possess visual acuity to document company records

Continuous walking throughout plant and distribution center
