Package Manager (24389)

The Package Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of work packages, ensuring works are delivered safely, to the required quality, programme and commercial expectations. The role will act as the key point of control between the project team, suppliers, manufacturing, site teams and subcontractors. You will be ensuring that works are properly planned, risks and constraints are identified early, and the required information, materials, resources and approvals are in place to support successful delivery on a live nuclear licensed site.

The Package Manager will provide clear leadership and ownership of their packages from preconstruction through to installation, handover and close out, ensuring progress is actively managed, issues are escalated where required, and delivery is aligned with the wider project requirements.

Be aware of and be familiar with current industry standards and specifications relevant to ventilation systems.

Good communication skills at all levels.

Ability to represent the best interests of the company in direct dealings with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.

A conscientious, positive and reliable attitude to performing the task.

Understanding of company’s contractual obligations.

Demonstrable experience leading and managing construction packages on major nuclear, energy or complex infrastructure projects

Sound working knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and site logistics on a live nuclear licensed site, sufficient to manage scope, challenge information, and make informed delivery decisions.

Working knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 forms of contract, and ability to manage day-today site activities, including permits to work, RAMS and health & safety compliance

Experience managing interfaces between civils, M&E and other trades on site, ensuring coordinated and buildable solutions.
