About the Role

Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients, review medical histories, and verify surgical consent forms pre operatively
- Disinfect surgical site and safely position patients on the operating table
- Participate in multidisciplinary team 'TIME OUT' to confirm patient identity, site, and procedure
- Ensure operating room, instruments, and equipment are sterile and fully operational
- Work directly with surgeons and anesthetists by passing instruments and supplies during surgery
- Continuously monitor patient's vital parameters and respond quickly to emergencies
- Conduct rigorous instrument, sponge, and sharp counts to ensure nothing is left inside patient
- Strictly adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent infections
Requirements
- Valid nursing license and OT nursing certification
- Experience in operating room nursing
- Knowledge of sterile and aseptic techniques
- Ability to monitor vital signs and respond to emergencies
