About the Role
InterContinental Doha Beach & Spa seeks a passionate Room Service Order Taker to handle in-room dining orders with exceptional hospitality. You will answer calls, take orders, upsell, and coordinate with kitchen and service teams.

Responsibilities
- Answer all room service calls promptly, professionally, and courteously
- Take guest orders accurately while demonstrating strong menu knowledge, including promotions, ingredients, and allergens
- Upsell menu items and suggest appropriate add ons to enhance the guest experience
- Input orders accurately into the POS system and communicate effectively with the kitchen and service team
- Coordinate order preparation and delivery timing to ensure service standards are met
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with professionalism and urgency
- Ensure all billing and posting procedures are completed accurately
- Maintain clear communication with kitchen, stewarding, and service colleagues to support smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in Food & Beverage, Room Service, Call Center, or Guest Service is preferred
- Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette
- Strong command of English; additional languages are an advantage
- Good computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems (e.g., MICROS) is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Passion for delivering outstanding guest service

Your Day to Day
