Job Purpose
The Expert Oracle ERP Application Developer will design, develop, enhance, and support Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x applications.
The role collaborates with functional teams, delivers technical solutions, and provides technical leadership within the ERP environment.
Application Development and Support
- Develop and customize Oracle APEX, Oracle OAF, Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, and Workflow components.
- Create PL/SQL packages, functions, procedures, APIs, reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and concurrent programs.
- Support new modules, enhancements, upgrades, troubleshooting, patching, cloning, and R12.2 online maintenance.
- Support Oracle Financials, Supply Chain, and applicable HRMS or Payroll modules.
Integration and Quality
- Develop integrations using REST/SOAP web services, Oracle public APIs, and interface tables.
- Conduct PL/SQL optimization and tuning and perform code reviews against EBS development standards.
- Prepare MD050, MD070, TE020, and deployment-guide documentation.
Collaboration and Leadership
- Work with functional consultants and technical teams on business requirements and scalable solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in system design and architecture discussions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Five to seven years of hands-on Oracle ERP application development experience in R12.1 or R12.2.
- Strong Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x experience, including online patching.
- Advanced Oracle APEX, Oracle OAF, and expert-level PL/SQL skills.
- Experience with Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher or XML Publisher, and Oracle Workflow.
- Unix/Linux shell scripting knowledge and understanding of EBS architecture, patches, and adop cycles.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Oracle SOA or Integration Cloud, REST/SOAP integration, Oracle ADF, or Git/SVN is preferred.
- Experience working in Agile environments is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, leadership, and mentoring capabilities are expected.
