Oracle ERP Developer

Job Purpose

Application Development and Customization

• Develop and customize Oracle ERP R12.2.x components using Oracle APEX and Oracle OAF.
• Use Oracle Forms and Reports 10g or 12c, BI Publisher, XML Publisher, and Oracle Workflow Builder.
• Create and maintain PL/SQL packages, functions, procedures, APIs, reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and concurrent programs.
• Support development for new modules, system enhancements, and upgrades.

Functional and Technical Support

• Provide technical support for Financials modules including AP, AR, GL, and FA.
• Provide technical support for Supply Chain modules including PO, INV, and OM, plus HRMS or Payroll as applicable.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Analyze business requirements and design scalable solutions.
• Support patching, cloning, maintenance, and R12.2 online patching using adop.

Integration and APIs

• Develop integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
• Use Oracle public APIs and interface tables for integrations.
• Develop secure data exchange processes, including APEX and OAF-based solutions.

Performance and Quality Assurance

• Conduct PL/SQL optimization and tuning.
• Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with EBS development standards.
• Prepare MD050, MD070, TE020, and deployment guide documentation.

Collaboration and Leadership

• Work closely with functional consultants and technical teams.
• Mentor junior developers and promote development best practices.
• Participate actively in system design and architecture discussions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required.
• The role requires 5 to 7 years of hands-on Oracle ERP application development experience with R12.1 or R12.2.
• Strong Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x experience, including online patching, is required.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Advanced Oracle APEX development, Oracle OAF customizations and extensions, and expert-level PL/SQL are mandatory.
• Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports, BI Publisher or XML Publisher, and Oracle Workflow is required.
• Unix or Linux shell scripting experience is required.
• Understanding of EBS architecture, file systems, patches, and adop cycles is required.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

• Knowledge of Oracle SOA or Integration Cloud, REST or SOAP API integration, Oracle ADF, version control, or Agile environments is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, ownership, and quality-focused capabilities are required.
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities are required.
