Role Overview

The Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant provides expert guidance and support for implementing, customizing, and maintaining Oracle EBS Finance modules.

The consultant works with clients to understand business requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, configure, and customize Oracle EBS Finance modules according to client requirements.
  • Support finance operations, resolve business and IT issues, analyze root causes, and validate accounting setups.
  • Support enhancements, customizations, closing activities, reconciliations, data corrections, testing, documentation, and user support.
  • Coordinate with technical teams on integrations, reports, workflows, and custom developments.
  • Provide end-user training and post-implementation support.
  • Troubleshoot Oracle EBS Finance issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong functional experience with Oracle EBS Finance modules, including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, iExpense, SLA, AGIS, and financial reporting.
  • Experience in public sector, banking, or regulated financial institutions.
  • Experience with full lifecycle implementation of Oracle EBS Finance modules.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Technical Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Oracle EBS R12.2.x, SLA accounting rules, AME/workflows, Oracle Forms/OAF, BI/XML Publisher reports, and finance-system integrations.
  • Knowledge of procurement, payroll, banking integrations, tax/VAT setups, audit support, and Arabic/English business-user communication.
  • Jira, ManageEngine, and ITIL-based support-process experience are preferred.
  • Oracle EBS Finance certification is a plus.
