Job Overview

  • To design, implement, test and document Oracle Applications with respect to new requirements and maintain the existing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, test and document Oracle Applications development to agreed user and system requirements, timescales and standards.
  • Interacting, working closely with the users to understand their requirements.
  • Training users as and when required.
  • Documenting new developments using AIM Methodologies.
  • Take initiative to learn and implement new technologies when required and to be proactive in recommending new technologies.
  • Provide support to existing systems covering on site, remote, and web users.
  • Inspect and maintain the safety equipments and safety systems at work place regularly.
  • Ensure electricity and water are used properly and industrial waste disposed properly.
  • Perform other related jobs based on reporting manager’s instruction.

  • Handle all the tools and keys under custody and facilitate with employees at all levels.
  • Plan, organize and prioritize workload, must possess excellent trouble shooting, problem solving, analytical & logical skills, with good communication skills. Must be a team player.

Qualifications/Experience

  • University Degree in Computer Science or similar IT related subject.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Oracle Applications, using relevant tools and technologies.

Knowledge

  • ERP: Oracle Apps (Release 12)
  • Manufacturing: OM, INV, BOM, WIP
  • Financial: AP, GL, FA, AR, CM
  • Others: CRM, HRMS, PO, SSHR, PA
  • Languages: SQL, PL/SQL
  • GUI: Reports 6i/10g, Forms 6i/10g, Discoverer 10g, Workflow Builder, OAF
  • Tools: Toad, SQL*Loader, XML Publisher

Job Related Competencies

  • Good working knowledge in Technical Documentation using AIM Methodologies.
  • Proficient in all phases of Oracle Applications implementation with major focus on GL, FA, AP, AR, CM, INV, OM, HRMS, CRM, PA, BOM, WIP and PO modules.
  • Develop reports using Oracle Reports 10g, Discoverer 10g.
  • Develop and maintain Custom forms using 10g.
  • Customizing and developing workflows according to the requirement.
  • Exposure to XML Publisher used in customization of reports.
  • Experience on Form personalization & using ZOOM functionality.
  • Extensive experience in building Decision Support Systems, development of database triggers, procedures, functions and packages using PL/SQL.
  • Configuring Alerts. Defining Concurrent Programs, Executables.
