Job Purpose
Operate and monitor process plant and facilities in the assigned area according to operating procedures and company HSE standards.
Plant Operations
- Carry out operational work safely according to standard operating procedures.
- Perform routine equipment checks, report defects, and coordinate servicing with the supervisor.
- Monitor and adjust speeds, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates.
- Perform effective shutdown and start-up operations.
- Prepare plant and equipment for maintenance and ensure synchronization with other equipment.
- Receive chemicals, maintain stock and consumption registers, and prepare chemical batches.
- Operate related machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow safety, quality, and environmental policies, procedures, and controls.
- Obtain work permits and monitor jobs and contractor activities for safety compliance.
- Perform auxiliary fireman or site safety officer duties during emergencies when required.
- Follow supervisor instructions and prepare KPI commitment checklists for management.
Minimum Qualification
- Technical Diploma in a relevant field or Secondary School Certificate.
- Four years of plant operations experience in a large industrial plant in the oil and gas industry.
