Operations Training Advisor

Deliver operations training in classroom, on roadway, and blast site environments in support of the Academy Training program strategy.

Train and coach employees to safely follow the standard operating procedures in preparing and detonating explosives and operating equipment to achieve the Company standards and customer expectations.

Collaborate with the Health & Safety team to ensure all operational health and safety requirements are included in training documents and programs.

Proactively handle safety issues and support Sales and Service targets for LTI’s, MTI’s, TRI’s, FAI’s, and CAR’s. Support the implementation and use of risk assessment tools to promote personal responsibility for safety.

Close interface with Nobel Academies, Learning & Development group to effectively incorporate Training Program into a training management system.

Comply with all applicable Dyno Nobel, federal, state and region regulations, and governing agencies.

Report all near-misses, incidents and hazardous conditions to appropriate supervisors.

Attend and deliver company-required training and HSE programs.
