Position Overview
The Operations Support Manager manages operations support processes or teams at a BWXT Medical site.
The role is accountable for forecasting, planning, resourcing, scheduling, and execution that support compliant production of quality products.
Location
- The description states that the position is onsite in Kanata, Ontario, Canada.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Direct safe, efficient, effective, and economical operation of assigned operations cost centers.
- Manage support processes, budgets, staffing, delegation, training, and departmental objectives.
- Lead quality actions, projects, cost-control programs, efficiency initiatives, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers and departmental managers to support manufacturing and operational schedules.
- Assist or substitute for the Production Manager in managerial activities.
