About the Role

  • The Operations Manager – Waste Management is responsible for assisting the Line Manager/ BU Head with directing, developing, managing, and motivating colleagues involved in back office operations and ensuring the operational integrity of assigned functions and adherence to company policies and proce
  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Operations Team: Related to operational requirements
  • Operations Center: Related to WO management / fleet / manpower
  • Staff controller: Staff related issues
  • Billing team: related to billing and recycling rebates
  • CSR Representative: conduct the CSR activities
  • EHSQ: to arrange trainings and awareness
  • Clients: Various service issues and monthly reports
  • Government departments: permits and NOC’s
  • Implement and monitor company procedures for the collection, transport, and disposal of waste, in compliance with all regulations and legal requirements.
  • Responsible for developing department policies for achieving department goals, evaluating the progress toward the goal include both team and individual progress and performance reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Line Manager/ BU Head with directing, developing, managing, and motivating colleagues.
  • Ensure operational integrity of assigned functions and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Provide exemplary customer service.
  • Implement and monitor company procedures for waste management.
  • Develop department policies for achieving department goals.
  • Evaluate progress toward goals, including team and individual performance reviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute is a must.
  • Master’s degree from a recognized institute is desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 12 years of relevant work experience.

Required Skills

  • Good communication Skills in English and Hindi, and knowledge in other languages will be an advantage.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
  • Result Orientation and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Planning, organizing and coordination skills.
  • Must have good computer skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience in waste management operations.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in waste disposal.
