Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of grocery stores to ensure smooth and efficient performance
- Monitor sales, profitability, and operational KPIs, implementing action plans to achieve business targets
- Ensure product availability through effective inventory management and stock replenishment
- Minimize stock loss, shrinkage, and waste through proper inventory control
- Maintain high standards of merchandising, store presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and local regulatory requirements
- Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and department supervisors to improve performance
- Monitor customer service standards and resolve customer concerns promptly
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, logistics, and finance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations
- Prepare operational reports, analyze business performance, and recommend improvements
- Manage operating expenses while maintaining service quality
- Implement company policies, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Experience in managing daily operations of grocery stores or similar retail
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control
- Understanding of food safety, health, and local regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Ability to analyze sales and operational KPIs
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
