- Oversee the full scope of Facilities Management operations, with a strong focus on technical (hard services) including HVAC, electrical, MEP systems, and building infrastructure
- Ensure all systems are maintained to optimal performance through planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Manage subcontractors and service providers to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs
- Supervise delivery of soft services including housekeeping, pest control, waste management, security, and porter services
- Maintain strong client relationships with school management, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
- Demonstrate commercial awareness, including budgeting, cost control, and contract management
- Identify opportunities for service improvement and cost optimization
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards, and statutory requirements (Qatar specific)
- Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Promote a culture of safety across all operations
Requirements
- 6–9 years of experience in Facilities Management or similar operations
- Minimum 5 years of experience within GCC countries
- Proven track record in managing technical FM operations in complex environments
- Experience in educational institutions (schools) is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of hard and soft FM services management
- Proven experience in commercial management and customer relations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and operational priorities
- Valid Qatar Driving License (mandatory)
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Strong technical/engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)

Role Overview
- We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Manager to oversee Facilities Management (FM) operations.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 6–9 years of experience in Facilities Management or similar operations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within GCC countries.
- Proven track record in managing technical FM operations in complex environments.
- Experience in educational institutions (schools) is highly desirable.
- Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of hard and soft FM services management.
- Proven experience in commercial management and customer relations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and operational priorities.
- Certifications (Preferred): IFMA, RICS, IMechE, IET, BIFM/IWFM, CIBSE, ICE, or equivalent.
- Other Requirements: Valid Qatar Driving License (mandatory).
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Strong technical/engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
