This is a hands-on operational leadership role, ideal for someone with strong transport knowledge, people leadership skills, and a safety-first mindset. You'll be responsible for:
Leading and developing operational supervisors and a professional driver team.
Managing fleet performance, delivery schedules, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
Driving a strong safety culture with unwavering commitment to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and DG regulations.
Proactive management of customer relationships, maintaining service excellence and delivery KPIs in line with contract commitments.
Supporting a culture of continuous improvement through operational initiatives and team engagement.
We’re looking for a people-focused leader who thrives on delivering results and leading from the front. You’ll bring:
Experience managing transport operations, ideally in bulk liquids, fuel, or dangerous goods.
Strong people management capabilities, including coaching and developing frontline leaders.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both internal and external.
A track record of driving team performance and ensuring safety and service standards are met.
Sound operational judgment, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to changing demands.
