Operations Supervisor

Linfox Intermodal is looking for a passionate and dedicated Operations Supervisor who shares our vision of operational excellence and can ensure we continue to provide our customers confidence and supply chain reliability. This role will be based in Oberon NSW. This is an opportunity for an established supply chain professional to develop their career in a role that is responsible for transport operations, driver management, road compliance plus operational and customer service performance. We are considering both full time and part-time job share applicants for this position. Key areas:

Promoting a safety-first culture ensuring commitment to safety, chain of responsibility and compliance with licensing protocols

Provide transport operational oversight, ensuring appropriate operational KPI’s are developed and achieved so that service delivery meets contractual requirements

Identifying, evaluating and addressing transport risks focused on continuous improvement and innovation

Effective management and development of direct reports and operational teams

Partnership approach to customer relationships facilitating organic growth

Ensure that the systems and resources available are fully utilised to provide confidence to our customers

Excellent stakeholder engagement with an ability to build strong relationships

Ability to confidently lead, drive outcomes and develop diverse high-performance teams

Understanding of financial drivers, cost control and operational budgeting

Strong work ethic with a passion for transport/logistics and commitment to continuous improvement
