Operations Manager

Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Lead health and safety, facilities management, campus planning, and daily campus operations.
• Manage capital projects, capital expenditure budgets, governance structures, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee renovations, modifications, and large-scale procurement projects with landlords, contractors, and design teams.
• Manage contracts and operations covering security, cleaning, maintenance, school buses, and onsite catering.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar regulatory agencies, Nord Anglia standards, and legal requirements.
• Lead budgeting, procurement, and event logistics for non-academic school functions.
• Line-manage procurement, operations, facilities, bus support, and medical team staff.
• Support space planning, room moves, and building maintenance with the Extended Leadership Team.
• Advise the Principal on resources and achieve cost savings through supplier and vendor negotiation.

Successful Candidate

• University degree.
• Previous experience in this role or a similar operations management role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with high personal integrity.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure while remaining calm.
• Proactive and adaptable approach with the ability to prompt others to meet deadlines.
• Qatar or regional Middle East experience is desirable.
