Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver services to the highest possible standard and address risks to minimize operational losses.
• Train, deploy, counsel, motivate, coach, and develop direct reports.
• Monitor regulatory and security compliance across the team.
• Identify and implement process improvements to support business efficiency.
• Plan and implement changes with minimal disruption to services.
• Use CAPA to investigate adverse trends and reduce recurrence risk.
• Plan, delegate, and manage projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Maintain compliance with quality, regulatory, statutory, and reporting requirements.
• Perform duties in accordance with regulator requirements, including the FCA Principles for Business.
• Maintain relationships across Equiniti that support business KPIs.

Competencies and Experience

• Experience assessing performance, capabilities, and potential, and providing constructive feedback.
• Experience monitoring financial resources for business units or projects.
• Experience using project management techniques and planning for uncertainty.
• Experience managing AML, KYC, or transaction monitoring teams.
• Knowledge and experience of financial markets.
• ICSA or IAQ qualification including the Compliance module, to be achieved within one year of appointment.
