Job Description
The Operations Clerk reports directly to the Clerical Manager.
The role performs daily administrative and clerical activities for the Shipping, Receiving, and Transportation departments.
The position works primarily from the Dwight Warehouse location and requires regular travel to both company locations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare shipping and receiving documents and print labels as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventories of shipping and receiving supplies.
- Support transportation operations by addressing driver and customer delivery questions.
- Confirm appointments and reinforce instructions for special delivery assignments.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to fill orders efficiently and on time.
- Interface with clients and vendors to schedule appointments and address vendor issues.
- Maintain shipping and receiving records and filing systems.
