Role Overview

  • The Operations Assistant plays a key role in coordinating logistics, assisting with compliance and safety protocols, and facilitating communication to ensure smooth and reliable maritime operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Documentation and Reporting – Accountable for accurate and timely documentation of operational records. Preparation of vital operational documents, ensure adherence to regulations, and generate reports to enhance decision making and operational efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance – Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standard such as license renewal, NOCs, vessel insurance and other requirements. Maintain comprehensive records for inspection and audits and monitor practices to uphold legal and operational requirements.
  • Communication and Collaboration – Facilitates effective communication and collaboration among internal teams and external partners. Serves as a key liaison, ensuring that information flows smoothly, and promoting teamwork to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Administrative Support – Responsible for a range of administrative tasks, including organizing operational documents, coordinating logistics, and providing support for daily operations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Data Management – Ensures the accuracy and security of data by managing documentation, tracking performance metrics, and maintaining databases essential for marine operations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business related discipline.
  • Experience: 2 3 years of experience in maritime operations
  • Technical Skills: MS Office tools
  • Basic exposure to operational or administrative processes (for example, scheduling, documentation, coordination tasks)
