- Provide complex perioperative nursing care as scrub or circulating nurse
- Set up operating room according to type of operation and AORN recommendations
- Assist surgeon during complex operative, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
- Ensure pre, intra, and post op documentation is completed timely
- Precept new hires and trainees during probation
- Respond to emergency and life saving situations
Requirements
- International Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Nursing
- Current licensure as a professional registered nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience including 4 years as an Operating Room Nurse
- English: Fully Proficient

Job Description Summary
- The Operating Room Registered Nurse works in Dhahran OR, providing complex direct nursing care guided by policies and procedures.
- Work is performed on any shift, including on call and scheduled overtime.
Operational Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality nursing care focusing on complex cases.
- Assist in managing workflow and mentoring junior nurses.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care.
- Provide patient/family education consistent with plan of care.
- Precept new hires and trainees.
- Respond to emergency and life saving situations.
- Perform wide range of nursing procedures with attention to accuracy and safety.
- Represent unit on committees as assigned.
- Act as scrub or circulating nurse according to OR schedule.
- Set up operating room per AORN recommendations.
- Assist surgeon during complex procedures.
Minimum Education and Experience
- 3 years International Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Nursing.
- Current licensure as a professional registered nurse.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS as applicable.
- Minimum 5 years nursing experience including 4 years as OR Nurse.
- English: Fully Proficient; Arabic: Preferred.
