Job Purpose
The Officer supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of business continuity initiatives.
The role enhances organizational resilience and preparedness against disruptions.
The role supports risk assessment, business impact analysis, continuity planning, testing, and awareness activities.
Job Accountabilities
- Assist with risk and vulnerability identification, business impact analysis, and assessment of critical business functions.
- Contribute to continuity plans and procedures and coordinate related documentation, records, and reports.
- Support awareness sessions, training, workshops, exercises, drills, and simulations.
- Track action items from tests, audits, and reviews and coordinate with stakeholders to keep plans current.
- Maintain emergency communication lists and properly retain continuity documentation and evidence.
- Support compliance with applicable requirements, standards, and internal policies.
- Participate in incident response and recovery and prepare post-incident and post-exercise reports.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, or an equivalent field is required.
- A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in the same or a similar field is required.
