Working closely with the team, you will help maintain accurate rental asset records, organize documentation, and support reporting and tracking processes. You will be part of the Surface Rentals team and work closely with employees who support both office and operational activities.
The team environment will provide an opportunity to learn how administrative processes, asset information, reporting, and operational execution connect to support customers and the broader business.
We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable asking questions, learning new systems, and contributing wherever support is needed.
This is primarily an office-based role in Leduc , with an opportunity to gain some exposure to the shop environment.
The role requires regular use of computers, Microsoft Office applications, and company systems. The successful candidate should be comfortable working with detailed information and completing tasks that require accuracy and organization.
There may also be opportunities to support activities in the shop or yard, providing exposure to the operational side of the business.
Maintaining accurate rental asset records and information.
Processing and organizing operational documentation.
Cleaning up and standardizing electronic rental files.
Building and updating Excel trackers.
Supporting weekly reporting and maintaining reporting templates.
Assisting with administrative processes and data entry.
Organizing information to improve accessibility and accuracy.
Supporting the team with other administrative and operational tasks as required.
Providing support to the shop or yard when required, based on business needs.
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Engineering, Commerce, Information Technology/Programming, Supply Chain , or a related discipline.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to learn and navigate new company systems and processes.
Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a team environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Reliable, organized, and willing to take initiative.
Interest in learning how office and operational functions work together.
