The Opportunity
- We are seeking an Office Administrator for our Fredericton office. This is a full time, in office position requiring working from the office five days per week.
Responsibilities
- Maintain smooth day to day flow of the local office
- Participate in Office Managers and Office Administrators national groups
- Work collaboratively to promote office culture activities and events
- Support Office Manager in developing annual Office Business Plan
- Monitor operating budgets and capital purchases
- Support internal business initiatives and projects
- Participate in local Health and Safety committee
- Assist in organizing monthly staff meetings
- Coordinate with third party service providers and property management
- Deliver new employee orientation and training
- Assist in organizing work related functions and community engagement events
- Greet visitors, coordinate mail and couriers, manage entry system
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 5 years of administration related experience
- Certificate or diploma in administration related field considered an asset
Experience/Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience in customer service and/or Professional Services consulting firm considered an asset
