Position
The position is OCTG Engineer / Inspector within the Inspection and Verification Services department.
The role reports to the IVS Manager and works with IVS management, administrators, coordinators, and technical assistance staff.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
- DS-1, NDT certification, client or QCC approval, or equivalent training for OCTG inspection and testing.
- Minimum three years of experience in NDT or OCTG inspection and certification.
- Knowledge of OCTG equipment for onshore and offshore applications.
Technical and Business Requirements
- Knowledge of OCTG equipment operation and applicable quality standards.
- Perform inspection and verification in accordance with quality standards and federal legal requirements.
- Demonstrate honesty, integrity, punctuality, accuracy, courtesy, time management, communication, and dedicated service.
- Issue inspection reports and deliverables on time.
Primary Functions
- Inspect OCTG products, including casing and tubing, against industry standards and specifications.
