Elior Support Services – The People Behind Every Plate
Elior UK is looking for a passionate and detail-focused Nutritionist to join our Education division , supporting primary, secondary, SEND schools, and colleges.
You’ll be part of a wider community of Dietitians and Nutritionists, working alongside experienced colleagues to provide specialist nutritional support across our education sites. This is a varied role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference to children’s health and wellbeing, particularly supporting those with food allergies, intolerances and medical conditions requiring tailored menus.
This is a field-based role, so you’ll need to be flexible and able to travel to our Education sites as required.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday | 37.5 Hours Per Week | Field Based

What you’ll be serving up…
Writing medical diet menus for children across primary and SEND school sites.
Working closely with our Development Chefs to develop suitable medical diet recipes.
Liaising with parents, healthcare professionals and schools regarding children requiring medical diets.
Supporting our Marketing team with nutrition fact sheets, presentations and customer-facing content .
Supporting the Dietitian with projects including menu coding to highlight nutritional benefits.
Providing nutritional support to our Education operations teams via email, phone and site visits when required.
Delivering added-value activities in schools, including interactive healthy eating presentations and pop-ups .
Attending parents’ evenings and open days when required.
Working as part of our wider nutrition community, sharing best practice and contributing to projects and ongoing professional development.
The ingredients you’ll bring…
A minimum BSc degree in Nutrition .
Knowledge of food allergies and intolerances .
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Strong verbal and written communication skills .
Excellent IT skills and confidence managing busy inboxes.
The ability to keep up to date with current research and relevant legislation .
Experience using a menu management system would be desirable, but isn’t essential.
A genuine interest in supporting children and helping schools provide safe, suitable and nutritious food.
