About the Role

Responsibilities
- Ensure nurses deliver safe and high quality patient care
- Develop and support Nurse in Charge and Nurse Supervisors
- Evaluate nursing activities for safe patient care and operational efficiency
- Perform direct clinical nursing care when required
- Conduct regular clinical rounds with inter professional team
- Improve operational systems, service processes, and policies
- Establish, plan, implement, and monitor KPIs
- Liaise with stakeholders on clinical equipment and inventory
- Participate in quality management and internal clinical audits
- Develop policies and procedures for patient care
- Participate in annual budget and manpower planning
- Manage caregiver appraisals and training needs analysis
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with clinical leadership experience
- Experience in managing nursing teams
- Certification in Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Overview
- Ensure nurses deliver safe and high quality patient care with a proactive attitude towards patients and families.
- Develop and provide support to Nurse in Charge and Nurse Supervisors in leading a team of Assistant and Registered nurses.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate nursing activities to ensure safe patient care, good caregiver relations, and operational efficiency.
- Perform direct clinical nursing care when required, mandating NMC nursing uniform.
- Conduct regular clinical rounds with nursing and other inter professional team members.
- Conduct regular clinical rounds talking with patients and bystanders to support patient experience.
- Improve operational systems, service processes, and policies in support of NMC mission.
- Perform essential life support as per regulatory requirements (BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP).
- Establish, plan, implement, and monitor KPIs relevant to the business and departments.
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders regarding clinical equipment, inventory supplies, and product evaluation.
- Participate as a team member of Quality Management team in implementing SOPs and protocols.
- Participate and lead in internal clinical audits and communicate to improve practice.
- Develop policies and procedures relating to patient care.
- Develop clinical skill assessment tools and participate in caregiver assessment.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with clinical leadership experience.
- Experience in managing nursing teams.
- Certification in Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
