Job Summary

Responsible for identifying sales opportunities for AIC insurance plans and overseeing a portfolio of clients.

Calling & meeting with clients and potential clients to grow the customers’ base and getting information about clients’ needs and matching them with insurance policies we offer.

Also responsible for handling policy renewals.

Responsibilities

1.

Responsible for developing long term relationship with clients, assess their needs and provide them accurate solutions

2.

Achieve the Annual Target by all lines of business (New & Renewal business target)

3.

Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, establishing contacts and converting leads into customers.

4.

Ensure fully onboarded business with proper information and premium settlements

5.

Research & acquire potential leads from variable resources and create a database of prospective clients

6.

Maintain records and handle policy renewals

7.

Complete sales report activity

8.

Perform collection as per the channel credit, control and collection Policy & Procedure.

9.

Coordinate with underwriters and claims team when necessary

10.

Ensure that policy requirements are fulfilled, including any necessary medical examinations and the completion of appropriate forms.

11.

Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that affect current and future growth of sales and profitability.

12.

Adopt and adapt the implementation of the DSF Policy & Procedure.

13.

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Insurance or Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-year experience in sales or marketing, preferably in insurance & in intended market
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive approach to business development.
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and regulatory environments.
  • Has knowledge of local laws and practice
