Support the implementation, administration, and operation of enterprise network security solutions.
Maintain reliable and secure connectivity across enterprise infrastructure with network and security teams.
Key responsibilities
- Configure, manage, and support Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, and Cisco ASA firewall platforms.
- Perform firewall policy updates, rule reviews, NAT configuration, and security policy optimization.
- Configure and support SSL VPN and IPSec VPN solutions.
- Monitor security events and support incident investigation and response.
- Troubleshoot firewall, VPN, connectivity, and security issues.
- Assist with firewall upgrades, migrations, patches, and configuration improvements.
- Maintain network security documentation, procedures, and configuration records.
- Support security audits, compliance activities, and change management.
Required skills and experience
- 5–6 years of experience in network security operations.
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate, Palo Alto Networks firewalls, or Cisco ASA.
- Strong understanding of firewall concepts, security policies, NAT, routing, SSL VPN, and IPSec VPN.
- Experience with firewall configuration changes, troubleshooting, and security rule management.
- Exposure to FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, or Panorama.
- Understanding of IDS/IPS technologies and network security monitoring.
- Relevant certification such as Fortinet certification, PCNSA, PCNSE, CCNA, or CCNP.
Preferred skills
- Experience with cloud firewall technologies and hybrid network environments.
- Familiarity with ITSM, incident management, and change management processes.
- Strong documentation, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
