As a Security Engineer III you will lead the design, deployment, and optimization of secure, high‑availability enterprise network environments while supporting continuous improvement across infrastructure and DevSecOps practices—consistent with typical expectations to design, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain complex enterprise networks.

Lead hands-on deployment and configuration of physical network hardware, including routers, switches, and associated infrastructure.

Test, evaluate, and optimize network systems to improve reliability, scalability, and security posture.

Partner with engineering teams to support hardware testing, architecture evaluation, and development of custom network solutions.

Collaborate within a SAFe/DevSecOps environment, providing feedback to software development teams and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Required:
  • Bachelor’s and 3 years of professional experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance or SCI eligibility
  • This role has a requirement to be onsite 5 days a week in Colorado Springs,
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • 3+ years of the following experience:
  • Working with enterprise network environments, including network infrastructure design, deployment, or operations
  • Networking and security concepts, including routing, switching, firewalls, monitoring, and access management
  • Supporting network reliability, performance optimization, or troubleshooting
  • Working in large-scale environments and collaborating with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams
  • Working in Agile, DevSecOps, or similar iterative engineering environments
  • Preferred:
  • Relevant certifications including CISSP, Network+, Security+ , or CEH
  • The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,600 to $159,300.
  • You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
