Overview

🚀Title: Network & Security Engineer

• 📍Location : Dubai- onsite
• 🗓Duration : 1 year contract extendable
• ⏰ Notice Period: Immediate joiner or up to 30 days
• 🔒 Key Requirements:
• Security: Palo Alto, Fortigate, Cisco ISE, Symantec Proxy, Cisco Duo.
• Networking: Cisco Catalyst & Nexus Switches, Cisco ISR/ASR Routers.
• Protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STP, HSRP, NAT, IPsec.
• Monitoring: SolarWinds (NPM, NCM, NAT, Backup).

1. Network Security & Identity Management

• Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW): Lead the administration of Palo Alto and Fortigate firewalls, including security policy orchestration.
• Web Security: Manage Symantec Proxy (BlueCoat) for secure web gateway traffic, including SSL inspection, URL filtering, and proxy chaining.
• Network Access Control (NAC): Direct administration of Cisco ISE to manage identity-based access, guest services, and endpoint profiling.
• Access Protection: Deployment and maintenance of Cisco Duo for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) across VPN and internal application layers.

2. Infrastructure Routing & Switching

• Advanced Routing: Design and troubleshoot complex routing environments using OSPF and EIGRP protocols across Cisco Routers.
• Core Switching: Manage enterprise-scale Cisco switching fabric, including high availability (HSRP/VPC), VLAN segmentation, and Trunking (802.1Q).
• Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize routing tables and link stability to ensure zero-latency for business-critical applications.

3. Monitoring, Backup & Business Continuity

• NMS Management: Full ownership of the SolarWinds Orion Platform (NPM/NCM) to monitor health, latency, and hardware performance of all global nodes.
• Disaster Recovery (DR): Management of SolarWinds Backup solutions, ensuring 100% success rate for configuration backups of all network and security devices.
• Incident Response: Serving as the Tier-3 point of contact for complex network outages or security anomalies.
