Role overview
Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure and security measures in a hybrid IT environment.
Ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of network and cloud resources while supporting security initiatives and responding to incidents.
Network and cloud security responsibilities
- Design and manage infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Configure VPNs and integrations between on-premises and cloud resources.
- Implement Azure security controls, including identity access, encryption, and compliance policies.
- Configure Fortigate and Sophos firewalls, IDS/IPS, and anti-malware solutions.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security incident investigations.
Monitoring and support
- Monitor network traffic, security events, and cloud activity with monitoring and SIEM tools.
- Generate performance, incident, and compliance reports and recommend improvements.
- Provide technical support for network and security issues affecting internal teams and end users.
- Maintain documentation for network configurations, security policies, and incident reports.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and security best practices.
Requirements
- Three years of network and security engineering experience is required.
- Three years of experience managing hybrid IT environments is required.
- Experience with Azure and familiarity with Fortigate and Sophos are required.
- English proficiency is preferred.
Employment
- The position is full-time.
