Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable network architectures across on premises and multi cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Automate network provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management
- Manage and optimize core networking components including routing, switching, load balancers, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls
- Implement cloud networking solutions such as VPC/VNet design, hybrid connectivity (VPN/Direct Connect/ExpressRoute), and network segmentation
- Build and maintain automated workflows for network monitoring, alerting, and self healing mechanisms
- Integrate network telemetry and observability tools for proactive issue detection
- Support zero downtime deployments and ensure network readiness for high availability and disaster recovery scenarios
- Design and execute automated failover strategies and multi region network redundancy models
- Troubleshoot complex network incidents across cloud and on prem environments, performing root cause analysis (RCA)
- Implement security best practices including segmentation, zero trust principles, and firewall policy automation
- Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and Security teams to align network automation with platform engineering standards
- Develop and maintain network documentation, runbooks, architecture diagrams, and automation templates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure, or cloud networking roles
- Strong hands on experience with enterprise networking (routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, DNS)
- Solid experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Strong understanding of hybrid cloud connectivity and multi region architectures
- Familiarity with network observability and monitoring tools
- Knowledge of security principles including segmentation, VPNs, and zero trust architecture
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in complex distributed environments
- Experience working in high availability, mission critical environments is highly preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical teams

As a Tapster you will
