Responsibilities
- Design, implement, secure, monitor, and optimize the company's network infrastructure
- Gather business requirements and assess requirements for ideal network design and infrastructure
- Recommend network hardware specifications for procurement
- Supervise delivery handling, stock keeping, and delivery note acknowledgement of network equipment
- Participate in evaluation of networking projects/services and service providers
- Carry out installation and configuration plans for network equipment
- Perform acceptance testing for installations
- Provide guidelines and checklist for security and quality assurance
- Participate in data center facilities and hardware security processes
- Generate network performance and security reports
- Document all network hardware and service related information and activities
- Train co team members for knowledge sharing and knowledge transfer
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related fields
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in network engineering or related roles
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs)
- Experience with routing & switching technologies
- Familiarity with network security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Understanding of data center infrastructure and cloud networking
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.)
- Knowledge of disaster recovery and high availability architectures
- Relevant certifications are preferred (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet, Palo Alto, AWS/Azure networking)

Position Description
- The Network Engineer Specialist is responsible for the design, implementation, security, monitoring, and optimization of the company's network infrastructure.
- The role ensures high availability, performance, and security of all network services, aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.

Key Activities
- Able to gather business requirements and assess requirements for ideal and recommended Network design and infrastructure.
- Up to date with current Networking topologies, technologies, manufacturers, and service providers.
- Recommendations for Network Hardware specifications for the procurement process.
- Supervision of delivery handling, stock keeping, delivery note acknowledgement of network equipment.
- Direct involvement in evaluation of Networking projects/services and service providers.
- Knowledge of Data Center facilities and hosting requirements for Servers and Network Active and Passive Components.
- Participation for Installation and Configuration Plans for Network Equipment.
- Carry out and go over the Installation Check List for Network configuration and installations.
- Acceptance testing for the Installation done.
- Provision of guidelines and checklist for Security and Quality Assurance.
- Participation in Data Center Facilities and Hardware Security processes.
- Involvement in Network Access Security process and Performance Quality Tuning.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs)
