- Develop audit engagement scope and programs, complete fieldwork, discuss issues with clients, and prepare audit reports
- Follow up on implementation of recommendations
- Supervise internal audit team members involved in multiple audits, projects, and ad hoc assignments
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 6 years of work experience in IT, Cybersecurity and business support audit or related role
- Professional certification preferred: CIA, CISA, CFE
- At least one of the following certifications: CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, ISO Lead Auditor

Job Purpose
- Contribute to the successful completion of the Internal Audit Department plan.
- Conduct efficient risk based audits to evaluate management’s risk and control framework, focusing on IT, Cybersecurity, Data Management, Business Continuity Management, and Digital Business audits.
- Assist the Senior Manager in developing and delivering the internal audit plan.
- Supervise internal audit team members involved in multiple audits, projects, and ad hoc assignments.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of an internal risk based audit annual plan for related areas.
- Planning and undertaking assigned audits to assess controls, operational and technical efficiencies, and compliance.
- Driving operational improvements in assigned audit areas.
- Develop assigned audit engagement scope and programs, complete fieldwork, discuss issues, and prepare audit reports.
- Follow up on implementation of recommendations.
Key Activities
- Ensure audit documentation reflects appropriate business understanding, audit strategy, and evidence.
- Communicate audit progress and findings in status meetings.
- Complete audit work papers and memoranda documenting audit tests and findings.
- Present reports to Senior Manager and discuss issues and recommendations.
- Promote highest standards of ethics and standards across ALJUF.
- Recommend and implement adoption of new professional standards and audit methodology.
- Remain updated with job knowledge through education and professional publications.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably Master’s, in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certification preferred: CIA, CISA, CFE.
- Minimum 6 years of work experience in IT, Cybersecurity and business support audit or related role.
- At least one of the following certifications: CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, ISO Lead Auditor.
