Role overview
Design and implement client and project networks in collaboration with project engineering and security teams.
Ensure network infrastructure operates efficiently, securely, and reliably for project communications and data exchange.
The position may require periodic domestic or international travel.
Key responsibilities
- Design scalable and resilient LAN, WAN, WLAN, cloud, and related network architectures.
- Produce detailed network diagrams, schematics, and documentation.
- Evaluate network hardware and software and make technical recommendations.
- Collaborate with operations and security teams on security compliance and business continuity.
- Configure and test routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers with end clients.
- Develop and maintain network standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex network design, performance, and integration issues.
- Support pre-sales with technical guidance and network designs for bids and proposals.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, JNCIE, or similar industry certification is preferred.
