Cyber Security Engineer

Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity support for turnkey system-integration telecoms projects.
• Support and manage the security design, implementation, and testing of telecoms systems.
• Prepare security documentation, specifications, test procedures, network drawings, asset inventories, and self-assessments.
• Liaise with suppliers and third parties to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Travel to client meetings, review meetings, and vendor system factory acceptance tests as required.
• Conduct network and port scanning, vulnerability scanning, and network stress testing.
• Apply risk assessment approaches such as NIST 800-30 and security standards including NIST CSF, NIST RMF, ISO 27000, and IEC 62443.
• Configure and secure Windows, Linux, network equipment, and embedded devices.
• Communicate security requirements to project teams and vendors and support project networking and systems tasks.
• Support bid proposals and the wider security team as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• IT-related degree or equivalent.
